OK, I realize I'm not supposed to be weighing myself every day, and that an actual plateau is more than 5 days at the same weight, but this BLOWS. I lost 5 lbs the first week on my diet. 2nd week? Added in some light exercise, same diet, and NADA. Seriously. It's like working with no paycheck. And those people who say "It's just about calories." Those people? Can bite me. Because I wrote down every morsel I put in my mouth yesterday (a not atypical day) and the total calories was over 1,000 less than a conservative estimate of my basal metabolic rate (the number of calories I consume just by existing). At that rate, I should be losing approximately 1 lb every 3 days, or about 2 lbs. a week. And NOTHING.
This is why I've gone off pretty much every diet ever. I need consistency people.
